Pricing & Payment

How much does a painting project cost?
Project costs vary based on size, complexity, surface condition, and materials. Our residential projects typically range from $3,000-$50,000+, while commercial projects vary more widely. We provide detailed, itemized quotes for all work.
Clients pay for all materials upfront at the start of the project.
The remaining balance (labor portion) is due within 45 days of project completion and acceptance.
Payments not received within 60 days will incur a 12% monthly late fee.

We accept cash, checks, and all major credit cards. For large commercial projects, we can arrange progress payments at specified milestones.

Never. Our quotes include all labor, materials, preparation work, and cleanup. The only additional charges would be for changes you request after the contract is signed.

In cases of non-payment, Eight Corners Co. reserves the right to file a mechanic’s lien on the property.
The client will be responsible for any attorney or collection fees incurred.

Project Timeline

How long does a typical project take?
Interior rooms take 2-4 days, whole-home interiors 1-2 weeks, and exteriors 1-3 weeks depending on size and weather. Commercial projects vary based on scope. We provide specific timelines in every quote.
We recommend booking 4-6 weeks in advance, especially during peak season (spring and summer). However, we occasionally have openings for rush projects—contact us to check availability.
We closely monitor weather and won’t paint in rain, extreme temperatures, or high humidity. We’ll reschedule affected days and adjust the timeline accordingly at no additional cost.

Preparation & Process

Do I need to move my furniture?

We use premium drop cloths, plastic sheeting, and protective coverings on all floors, furniture, and fixtures. Our crew is trained in meticulous protection protocols—we treat your home as if it were our own.
All necessary preparation is included: washing surfaces, scraping loose paint, filling holes and cracks, sanding, caulking, and priming. Proper prep is 80% of a quality paint job. We thoroughly clean, sand, patch, prime, and mask all surfaces to ensure a durable, professional finis
Absolutely. Most clients stay home during projects. We work room by room to minimize disruption and use low-VOC paints to reduce odors. We also maintain a clean, organized work area.

Materials & Quality

What paint brands do you use?
We use premium brands such as Sherwin-Williams, Benjamin Moore, and Fine Paints of Europe, depending on project needs and client preference.
We strongly recommend using our specified materials for warranty coverage. However, if you prefer specific paint, we can discuss options. Note that our warranty may be limited if materials are client-provided.
Yes! We offer zero-VOC and low-VOC paints that are better for indoor air quality and the environment, without compromising on quality or durability.

Color & Design

Do you help with color selection?
Absolutely. We offer complimentary color consultation to help you choose the perfect palette. We can provide sample swatches and apply test patches before committing to full rooms.
This is why we always recommend testing colors first. If you’re unhappy after full application, we can repaint, but this would be considered a change order with additional charges for materials and labor.

Warranty & Guarantee

Do you offer a warranty?
All labor and materials are covered by a 1-year standard workmanship warranty, protecting against peeling, blistering, or adhesion failure under normal conditions.
You can also choose a 5-year extended warranty for an additional 15% of the project total, which includes both labor and materials coverage.
Your complete satisfaction is our top priority. We conduct a final walkthrough with you before considering any project complete. If you’re not 100% satisfied, we make it right—no questions asked.
